We have been breeding to improve the quality of wool on our llamas, and have been rewarded with winning fleeces. In 2002 and 2004 our fleeces won Best of Show at the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo. In February, 2006, we were awarded Grand Champion Single Coat and Grand Champion Double Coat fleeces at the same show. We received three firsts and a third, then the two Grands. We also have won Grands at the Estes Park Wool Market.  
The white wool is from DDR Triple Threat, and he received a first place this year and was Best of Show in 2004 for his fleece. The fleece has been sold, but Triple is for sale on our Males For Sale page. The tan fleece was Grand Champion Double Coat and was sheared when Tank was four years old. He has been gelded, so hopefully he will keep his fine wool. I have lots of fleeces that are for sale, with lots of gray tones and crimp from offspring of Papa George.
